Normandy Machine Co. (NMC) has been a trusted supplier to the electric power transmission and distribution industry since 1940.

 

NMC repairs and custom-manufactures component parts, kits, and complete assemblies for power transformers and circuit breakers, including low and high voltage bushings, contacts, all makes and models of Load Tap Changers (LTC's) and Oil Circuit Breakers (OCB's).

 

NMC’s parts inventory consists of complete load tap changers with termination leads, load tap changer and circuit breaker kits, individual parts, gaskets, motors, drive components, and gear boxes for all major manufacturers.

 

Field Service Contact Kits

NMC stocks LTC and OCB Field Service Kits with upgraded contacts including all necessary hardware to install per manufacturer specifications and are available for immediate shipment.

LTC Exchange Program

NMC remanufactured load tap changers are equipped with upgraded contacts, tie boards, leads, drives, bearings and gaskets and include a complete report including contact resistance, contact pressures, and timing that minimizes the installation time to restore service.

Field Service and Field Training

NMC field service technicians are available to assist installation, repair, and training in the replacement of load tap changers including field diagnostics, trouble shooting, and upgrades.

Training on voltage regulator fundamentals, tap changer fundamentals, tap changer construction, operation and maintenance, as well as breakers and switches.
